A tavalyi nagy sikerre való tekintettel idén is megrendezésre kerül a Dino Expo, az iharkúti dinoszaurusz-lelőhely, és az ott folyó ásatási munkálatok bemutatására rendezett nyílt napok keretében. A lelőhely szomszédságában lévő településeken (Németbánya, Bakonyjákó), a dinoszauruszokhoz és a kutatáshoz kapcsolódó, továbbá egyéb szabadidős és kulturális programokkal, külső és helyi partnerek bevonásával egész napos tartalmas elfoglaltságot kívánunk biztosítani vendégeink számára. Minden a rendezvényre megváltott jeggyel, vagy ott elköltött forinttal támogatja a bakonyi dinoszaurusz-kutatásokat! Vendégházunk egy csodálatos völgyben helyezkedik el, körülölelve dombokkal, erdővel. A FATOSZ hivatalos minősítése alapján 3 napraforgó osztályos. A tetőtérben található szobáink minden igényt kielégítenek. Három szobánkban összesen 6+2 fő számára tudunk elhelyezést biztosítani. Kerékpározó vendégeink számára, zárt tárolót biztosítunk. Kutyával érkező vendégeinket is szeretettel várjuk. A Bakony szívében, Németbánya településén alakítottuk ki vendégházunkat, hogy mindazok, akik kikapcsolódásra és feltöltődésre vágynak, igaz és őszinte vendégszeretettel övezve térhessenek be hozzánk. Hosszú éveket töltöttünk egy nagyvárosban, rengeteg munkával, sok stresszel. Egy kirándulásunk alkalmával találtunk rá erre a helyre. A falu főterén megállva, szinte egyszerre mondtuk...

Ezúton meghívom Önöket egy csendvölgyi természeti és gasztronómiai élménytúrára a Bitva patak völgyében megbúvó, erdőkkel körülvett, kis zsákfaluba, Németbányára. Vendégeink ébredése a csend miatt néha késő délelőttbe hajlik. A falut átszelő Bitva patakon átkelve 1,5 km-re található a hét patak által táplált kristálytiszta vizű Pisztrángos tó kiváló horgászélményt nyújt egész évben. A falutól 2 km-re található, ma már nyugodtan világhírűnek nevezhető iharkúti dinoszaurusz lelőhely a volt bauxitbánya területén. Az itt megtalált és rekonstruált leletek egy része már látható a Természettudományi Múzeumban. A falu végétől az Országos Kéktúra mentén 12 km-re fekvő Bakonybélbe lehet eljutni . Tarka Boci Portánkat 2003-ban alapítottuk, azóta, persze változó lendülettel, épül és bővül. Festői dombhátakon és völgyekben legelnek állataink, ódon hangulatú parasztházunk tiszta szobájából alakítottuk ki vendégszobánkat. Gazdaságunk a kezdetek óta a Biokontoll Hungária Kht. által tanúsított biogazdaság. Portánkon a sokféleség jellemző, alapvetően az önellátásra és helyi termékek előállítására törekszünk, ezen termékeink kerülnek vásárlóink kosarába és vendégeink asztalára is. Kedves vendégeinknek ajánljuk régi parasztházunk tisztaszobájából kialakított, külön bejáratos, igényes népi tárgyakkal berendezett, összkomfortos lakrészünket.
